Beau Yates Wins Drift Allstars Series
Xtreme Clutch driver Beau Yates has taken out the Hi-Tec Drift Australia Allstars Championship at the final round of the series held at Sydney Motorsport Park over the weekend.
Beau’s immaculate Toyota 86 is powered by a 2JZ engine producing over 500KW. The power is transferred to the Achilles 123S tyres through a Tractive RD906 billet 6 speed sequential gearbox and an Xtreme Clutch 230mm twin ceramic.
Beau was excited to start off 2017 with the championship win. “After qualifying first and progressing through the battle tree we came away with a perfect round. We qualified 1st and finished 1st last night which also put me in 1st place for the overall championship. Such a great way to start this year's racing!”
Brad Tuohy finished the championship in second place with Scott Schembri finishing in third.
