Xtreme driver Jack Monkhouse has that winning feeling!

Xtreme-Clutch sponsored driver Jack Monkhouse is back in the winner’s circle after a busy weekend behind the wheel of his Datsun 180B.

Jack, who normally pilots his Nissan S15 200SX in the Australian Rally Championship, has taken a 12-month break from the Championship to ready the car for 2015, but without straying too far away from rally circles, Jack prepared his Datsun 180B which hasn’t seen a rally since the 2011 Alpine Rally.

Xtreme supplied the Datsun with a set of Brake Pads from the Xtreme Brake Range for both front and rear. The Datsun also uses an Xtreme Race Sprung Ceramic Clutch Kit including a Chromoly Flywheel. After many late nights the Datsun was ready to challenge the Annual John Giddings Memorial Rally held in Orange, NSW.

The rally is a part of the Southern Cross Rally Series and it’s the first time Jack has competed in the Series. The car was faultless with only a minor issue heading into the lunchtime break being rectified and the car was unstoppable for the remainder of the rally.

With a strong start in the early stages on the Saturday, Jack came back after lunchtime with some blistering stage times to take the win in Classic and finish as the outright winner for the Rally.
